Sapu Lidi - Makan di Sawah

This restaurant is famous with its style of dining. Instead of dining in a big luxurious hall, Sapu Lidi offers you an unforgettable dining experience in the fresh air and tropical environment surrounded by the terraced rice field with companion of its Sundanese cuisines.

This restaurant is very popular at Bandung itself. Thank God I was there a bit earlier than everyone else or else I'll be in a long waiting list teehee :) 

They open 2 branches at Bandung but I went to the one at Lembang. I personally like the style of the restaurant. It really brings you close to the nature.

Rumah Mode

One thing you should all know before visiting Bandung is factory outlet. Bandung has looottt loott lott lotttss of factory outlet. Cheapy stuffs yeay :) Rumah Mode is I think one of the most crowded, biggest and complete factory outlets at Bandung. They sell fashion collection for men, women and children. You can find branded items such as Zara, Bebe, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Armani Exchange, Burberry, and many many else here in a very affordable price. I shopped quite a lot here teehee :)

Paris Van Java

Paris Van Java is one of the most popular mall in Bandung. I didn't spend much time here. I had dinner at Warung Talaga which I think was the BEST OF THE BEST!!!! Their specialty was Indonesian tofu and some traditional Indonesian cuisines. Even though they open at such a big mall, but their ambience is like "warung" or you can say "mamak" style of dining which I think good good good!! They are not pricey at anyway and tasted good at anyway :D :D :D

The Stone Cafe

We are having fun here while sipping couple of glasses from Carbenet Sauvignon Wyndham Estate 2007. This wine is seriously good, highly recommended :) The cafe itself located at Lembang. With its cold weather and great view, this place is just good for drinking :)

Nothing much to say about this batagor. I hope I could kidnap the people who make this batagor. NICE!! Don't know what batagor is? Wikipedia it!! I'm sure you're gonna love it!

I think that was it. I only spent 2 days 1 night at Bandung. Will definitely go back there if I had a chance :) Btw, I realized that I talked about all good stuffs about those places but they are all my honest opinions.

Bandung Getaway

Dear readers, I'm gonna be away for a couple of days teehee :) I'm somehow at Jakarta already now and will be leaving for Bandung tomorrow. Hopefully... yes, hopefully I'm gonna shop till drop, eat till explode, get awesome stuffs, enough cash and cc works tmw... last but not least, not being smacked down by my mom LOL! #goodlife

Today's post I'm gonna talk about food food food..

Nasi Kering a.k.a Nasi Kucing a.k.a Cat's Rice

People in my city often call this wrapped small portion rice as 'Cat's Rice'

Why is it so? Simple! As you can see the rice portion for each wrap, you see cat's rice portion. makesense?

My little brother can eat up to 10 portions of this wrapped rice like seriously! lol

Each wrap contains 2 - 3 tbsp. of rice and 4 - 5 slices of Indonesian tofu.

You eat this rice with some fried food companion.

I personally like this food very much, very traditional Indonesian style :) teehee

Homemade Strawberry Smoothie

Oh well, this is lame. But I made a Strawberry Smoothie today. Very refreshing and healthy :)

This snack was absolutely my number 1 favourite when I was small. I think kids love this because it always comes with 2 parts, one part comes with chocolate while the other comes with something that you have to dig into the chocolate. So it's like you make your own snack?! lol OK I have too much imagination =.=

I really wanted to purchase Jason Chen's song Best Friend in iTunes this afternoon but I failed =.= #will tell you guys why soon! Well, seriously I have never bought anything via iTunes before lol.. I never jail break my iPhone also, I only downloaded some free applications teehee.. :) Anyway, this song is just great for me so I want to support him! But... when I was going to do a really good thing, it said...

Today, I visited my uncle and auntie who just gave a birth to a pretty baby. She is 3 months old now. I can't help myself for pinching her cheeks that are sooo chubby lol Just kidding I didn't actually pinch them.

I've been very unproductive ever since my holiday started. Today and yesterday, I haven't gotten a chance to practice my piano. But I have another thing to be done, cleaning up my make up brushes and organizing files in my laptop lol.. It's disgusting to see so many files and folder in my desktop..

Crabtree & Evelyn

I caught a cold for the past few days. It's really heavy for me to breathe and hard to talk especially in the morning. Then my mom asked me to take some medicines which I hate so much! I really hate the after effect. It makes me feel so weak and it causes drowsiness. Today, I woke up pretty late and had my brunch. Then I took the medicine, after like 30 minutes, I slept again -.- eerrhh imma pig... Then I woke up, watched TV, had my dinner and took a bath. After that, I drank my medicine again so I'm gonna have a really good sleep tonight teehee :)

OK, Im gonna talk about this brand "Crabtree & Evelyn" in this post. If you guys never heard of this brand before, it's a skin products. I first heard this brand when I was at Hong Kong. I was just walking around at the mall and saw a bunch of people queueing at 1 new opening shop.  I had no idea what it was but I followed the queueing line teehee :) The line was quite long though for such a small shop. Here we go, my turn to go in. First impression: the displayed packaging looked really pretty! I didn't remember which product I was trying but it smelled really good. It was quite pricey though that's why I didn't buy saaaddd :( 
But... my uncle gave me a box of Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Cream Therapy in Rose for Christmas Present. I was not a fan of hand cream until my hand started to break out in Winter. My hand was very dry! The skin was peeling off like no one business! lol.. It was gross and disgusting ewwww...
In short, I started using hand cream by then. And this C&E hand cream is my absolute favorite. I really love the smell. Last week before I flew back to Indonesia, I stayed at Singapore for a day and I purchased C&E Traveler Edition in Nantucket. I got them for SGD$38 which I personally think was a bit pricey. But anyway, I love that little pouch! It contained 1 hand cream, 1 body lotion, 1 body wash and 1 body soap.

I personally love this brand. All C&E products have a really soft smell. Well, it might not be suitable for those people who like fruity or strong smell. Im kind of person who likes powdery, soft, not that strong that kind of smell.

For hand cream therapy, I do still use them now but not as much as when I was at Hong Kong. My hand is still dry now I dont know why for some reasons. The weather is hot here. My hands should've been left moisturized, shouldn't they? But yeah anyway, I'm still using them because it keeps my hands moisturized. I am trying their body lotion and body wash now and I love them! Well, for the body wash is just normal, just like the other body was right? But for body lotion, it will make your skin really soft! Omg I fall in love with my skin every night after using them. And in the morning, you still can slightly smell it. I highly recommend the body lotion and definitely repurchase them when Im back to Malaysia.

#1. Jessy (when I was young, I used to think only my close close family can call me with this name haha)

#2. When I stand, I have to move! Sometimes, well most of the time, my mom scold me because when I talk to her, I like to stand and move my body and she was like "can you just stop moving and talk or you can just sit here and talk" >.<

#3. cockroach?! Especially the abnormal huge cockroach! I found it different between cockroach in Malaysia and Indonesia. In Malaysia, I rarely see those big black thick gross cockroaches but lots of small cockroach yicckss.. While in Indonesia, I rarely see cockroach but when I see one, it always came in the abnormal huge-size yicksss

#4. No ideas, I blast out lots of songs lol  

#5. My biggest pet peeves is when I hear the sound of stainless stuffs being glided together. Hmm, how to say they make a really high pitched annoying sound! Try to glide your stainless spoon and stainless fork. That's how it sounds! 

#6. Well, I don't have any particular habits when I'm nervous but my hands and my feet will naturally turn into 0 degree celsius when I'm nervous. Yes, really really cold!! 

#7. My bed at home is a single sized bed so I sleep where I am sleeping and I don't move a lot when I'm sleeping. But I do have a queen sized bed at my apartment Malaysia and I think I sleep in the middle.

#8. My first ever stuffed animal is a Mickey Mouse doll. But when I was small, I couldn't really pronounce Mickey Mouse, so I kept saying "dedek imos" well it was in Indonesian. It was something like "Mouse Brother". And then I remembered my mom had to throw it when I was like a little older because it was really ugly and ripped everywhere. But I kept crying and didn't want to let it go. So my mom gave me a "Green watermelon" doll instead but I kept calling it "dedek imos". And it's still here until now lol.. Gotta take picture later, it's really ugly anyway :D

#9. Double chocolate chocochip. Well, I'm not a big fan of coffee so I'm not a big fan of Starbucks as well.

#10. Cleanser cleanser cleanser. I tell my friends that it is very necessary to clean your face before you actually wash it with foam cleanser but I rarely practice it anyway lol

#11. Well, I always face the opposite wall of where my shower is hung on 

#12. Maybe because I'm small so I can touch my tiptoe with my hand without even putting any effort. I feel that my hands are longer than my feet so my hand can actually touch exceed my tip toe.

So, what's new? I'm on my semester break now. Well, I've been on holiday since 14 of November and will OFFICIALLY begin my new semester on April 2! Most 'normal' people will go like "WOAHH!! 4.5 months holiday!! What a goodness!" I can't be more excited when knowing about this at first but then I am thinking what am I gonna do???
