French Manicure with Gold Sparkle

I have been very obsessed with my DIY nail this week.

This nail design is very easy to create yet give a chic feminine look.

How to create this nail:

1. Apply base coat. (I am using Elianto base coat)

FYI: I used to always skip base coat. But I just realized base coat is really important! It protects your natural nail color.

2. Create the french manicure (White nail polish by The Face Shop)

There are loads of ways to do french manicure. I tried lots of methods but none of them succeed :(

Here's my trick: move your nail instead of the brush. If your original nail polish brush is too wide, make sure you only use half of them. Yuupp your skin gonna get messy but no worries you can use your remover to clean them. 

Fyi: this is my first time doing french manicure by myself. Im not using any special brush or tips or etc.

Fyii: the result might not be as perfect as when you're using special brush or tips.

3. Apply the sparkling gold polish (Gold sparkling polish by Etude House) 

Dab a little bit at the end of your nail. Make sure you don't put too much because we want to keep it simple. This gold polish is just to give more elegant look and add color.

4. Apply top coat (Seche Vite)

Seche Vite is a dry fast top coat. I love love love this top coat. It really makes my life a lot easier. I used to always chip my nail before it completely dries. That's why I really love this coat

Oil-free face by Laura Mercier

My face is very oily especially in the T-Zone area. That's why I always carry blotting paper in my make-up bag. Recently, I just bought Mineral Finishing Powder by Laura Mercier. I was surprised on how good it is to control my oil. The lady at the shop did tell me that this mineralize powder is good for oily skin. Anyhow, I just never expected this powder could be really good. After wearing it around 10hours, my face does not produce that much oil anymore. Before, I always blot my face after around 4-5 hours. So, I really recommend this powder if you have oily skin like me. I bought this for RM135 at Sunway Pyramid.

The product I was putting on:

1) Foundation Primer (sample, given to me with the powder) 

2) Silk Creme Foundation 

3) Mineral Finishing powder

I have instagram account for quite long time ago but was not really active. Now Ive been spending quite sometime at Instagram. So, follow me please at jessyfrenatta.

HO..HO..HO.. I dont know why Im such a skilled procrastinator. So here I am in the blogger while studying QM. Nope, I sometimes pass by Facebook and Youtube as well LOL! I'm having a mid-semester exam tomorrow. So, all the best for me?! Crap.. I should stop talking crap here and back to my work tee hee..

Now or Never ?

Ever seen people stating this quote "Now or Never" ?

As long as I breathe, as long as I live, there is a thing called "opportunity"

Why are we such in rush when we have plenty of time to work it out

If it is not happening "now" well it does not mean it will "never" happen

Sure it all goes back to the situation

However this quote is just sometimes irritating

It gives us a mindset to give up very easily even before the show begins

Then, what do we get at the end of the day?

Disappointment, feeling inferior, believe that you are a failure or whatsoever

You should not feel that way if you know there are still so many opportunities

"There is only one goal but there are so many different ways to achieve"

I talked to a friend last night and I really feel relieve by this saying:

"You will only consider this as broken-hearted when you give up. Are you gonna give up?"

You only give up because you know he/she/it/they/we are not worth-it to be fought for

Everyone knows nobody's perfect but that doesn't mean we are not aware of our value

If he/she/it/they/we are meant to be with, faith will eventually find a way back

So, certain things might not come now but it doesn't mean it will never come

If it never come, means you deserve more than that

Patience, effort, self-determination is all what it takes

Well, it's been a month since my last post. Nothing has been so interesting this month, or maybe I just did not pay much attention to my surroundings? I dont know. Anyway, I read an article recently from a magazine, I forget what it was. They recommend us girls to blog everyday in order to pay more attention on what's happening to our surroundings. It's like what's the fun today! I do still rmb a year before I believe when I was so into blogging world. I didnt know why but I always had something to blog about and it was always fun, new and interesting.. *well at least for me it was interesting. I knew how to put them into words, sentences, and paragraphs. Now, I am just too lazy to even remember what I did today. Everything is like not that important. Why do I have to waste my times to talk craps in blogger. But seriously when I am just so lonely like right now, blogger has been my very best friend for the past 4 years. LOL! I am talking craps right?!hahaa..

I shall post some random pictures to complete my post :)
