Before my training was officially started, I had a chance to travel around Bali with my family. Bali is an island where you will see thousands of Hindus temples located at almost every corner. Without denying it, Bali is a very sacred island as well. The Balinese itself are still very fond of their culture and God. As you can see above, we had to wear so called 'kebaya' to enter one of the temples to show respect.
Then we went up to Mount Kintamani to have our lunch with a beautiful landscape of Mount Batur (right behind us) and Lake Batur (right side of the picture). Mt. Batur is apparently still an active volcano. It was very fortunate of us to have been able seeing Mt. Batur. The fog was just too thick to cover the whole scenery.
Then we touched down Singaraja, Lovina at night and basically doing nothing. Lovina is a really famous place for their morning dolphin. So what we do is in the morning around 5 - 6am, we will take a small boat with the fisherman (yes of course or else we gonna die) to the middle of the sea and chasing the dolphins. It took quite a while to be able seeing the dolphins. I think around 45 minutes later, I was only able to see a bunch of dolphins dancing around my boat. They were so pretty anyway!! It was worth the time to wait. Sadly, the pictures were in my mom's camera which I forgot to copy -.-
Another awesome thing was the durian. My tour guide was apparently coming from this village so he knew some people there and brought us so called 'Durian Montong'. This durian is famous because of their bitter-sweet taste, big size and small seed. So it feels like you eat durian without the seed. I always hated durian's smell but I couldnt resist that one hahaha
On our way back to Jimbaran, we stopped by a 'idontknowwhatitscalled place but there were lotsa monkeys there. My tour guide said the monkeys here were not as hyper as the ones at Sangeh or Uluwatu. Well apparently they were not! They were so calm but anyway they were still hyper when I gave them bananas lol which monkey does not right Well at least they dont steal..
Moving on, we stopped by a place called Bedugul. It was afternoon 12o'clock where the sun was just right above my head! It was freakingly hawt out!! Bedugul is a mountain lake resort. Yes, there is an accommodation there.
It all ends here.. I actually went to water sports place and some beaches but pictures are in mom's camera.. -.-
But... no worries because the FUN begins here :)
